Bitterroot Mountain Outfitters, Inc. offers the best fair chase hunts located in the backcountry of The Bitterroot Mountains. We offer archery and rifle elk hunting, whitetail deer, spring and fall black bear, and wolf and late winter cougar hunts. We also offer special draw hunts such as Shiras Moose. Our elk hunting trips can be fully guided or a "Do It Yourself" trip. The owner, Dennis Brookshire, has spent a lifetime hunting. Beginning in his youngest of years in Eastern Washington, hunting deer and turkey that eventually led to creating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not only for himself but for his family also. Since 2009, they have been creating memorable adventures for the young and young at heart. Dennis and his crew are continually working hard for their clients' success, and if you ask the yearly returning clients, they would say their hard work and dedication are working!

We are located up the St. Joe River in the heart of the Bitterroot Mountains. We have been in the guiding business for over 25 years.
